Haitian epis recipe is the backbone to most creole cuisines, a combination of vegetables, herbs and spices mashed down to create a delightful marinade.
Pikliz is a condiment in Haitian cuisine of pickled cabbage, carrots, bell peppers and Scotch bonnet peppers.
Djondjon is the common name for a type of edible black mushroom often found in northern Haiti and used as a delicacy in some Haitian dishes, such as diri djondjon.
